Rules: The car/truck had to be sold brand new in 1950
I would buy a 1950 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS. Probably one of the more expensive Alfas you can buy this would be the last coachbuilt Alfa and the first to exceed 100mph. With a 110hp 2.4 six cylinder this car moved as gracefully as it looks.
What would you buy Oppo?

Probably a Renault 4CV, the grandfather of the Twingo if Wikipedia is to be believed. Because something cheap could still look classy back then.

Either a XK120 or a 356.
You couldn’t go wrong with a Ferarri 166 either

In that color, too. Copper roadster with fender skirts FTW.

Interesting choice. Classic truck body style though

yeah it was a cuban truck that got sank by the coastguard a few years ago, they ALMOST made the drive over. awesome trucks, run forever with little maintenance.

The Volvo PV444 wasn’t very good (yet) so I’d start working as a taxi driver and get a freshly facelifted PV831
A 3.6 straight six with 90 hp isn’t that bad either.

1950 was the first year for the MG TD.
Which would need to be used appropriately, of course.

You got that right...............even in Google search.

This one! Although it would have looked a little better in 1950. Coincidentally enough, this is a 1950 Ford F3, which I own. It’s one of my favorite styles of trucks and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if it was 1950. The only change I would make is to get it with the V8, this one had the I6.
Small picture, but this is how it would have looked brand new.

1951 Mercedes-Benz 300 S Cabriolet, purchased in December of 1950 because, fun fact, Mercedes did not produce any 6-cylinder luxury models in 1950.

Really? That is interesting 6 cylinders has to be the most popular cylinder count of all time I would imagine.
